Fresh Spaghetti & Meatball Coffee Napoli Sauce

What… What??? Coffee???

Yes, you read it right! A few years ago I saw the addition of coffee added into a Napoli sauce on a cooking show. I made it at the time and remember the richness coffee bought to the sauce.

This morning as I was preparing the meatballs for the all day slow cook and I just finished making a coffee in my @nespresso . So I opened the pod and added a teaspoon of ground coffee to the sauce.

To make the sauce, I also added one large jar of Passata, garlic, Italian herbs, onion, grated carrot and red wine.

Served with fresh pasta and Parmesan cheese
