Pakistan Gin

Now that’s something you don’t hear everyday! ..

The Murree Brewery was established in 1860 and is located in the Pir Punjal range of the Western Himalayas at an elevation of 6000 above sea level, near the resort town of Murree (Pakistan). They produces a wide variety of Beers, Liquors and alcoholic products. It has a very interesting history, you can read more at murreebrewery.com

Murree Brewery produce a number of Gin’s. I have used the London Dry Gin and they describe it as being a complex flavor that works very well with citrus and dry and sweet vermouths.

So I simply mixed it up with ruby grapefruit cordial, dash of lime and diet tonic water.

I served this sip with edible flowers, fresh thyme and some delicious dehydrated fruit.
