My Perfect ‘Dirty Martini’
My friend Paula @thebitterfairy is hosting the #quarantinemartinichallenge
The goal is to make your personal version of the ultimate martini, limited to things you have on hand. Requirements are simple: A clear spirit. A fortified wine or vermouth of some sort. Fair game: bitters, citrus peel, infusions, splitting the base. No juice. Sweet liqueurs and syrups are to be limited to a barspoon for “seasoning.”
Here is what I created with ingredients I always have on hand!
60ml @ginmare
15ml @maisonnoillyprat
Generous Bar Spoon Olive Brine
Generous Dash @thebittertruthcompany Olive Bitters
Place all ingredients in a cocktail shaker (from @williamssonoma )with ice (5-6 cubes minimum) and shake vigorously until combined
Strain into a divine martini glass (op shop purchase), serve with an Olive kebab on a rosemary stem (rosemary from my garden) and serve on a vintage silver tray
