Kiwifruit Jalapeno Margarita

I used:

  • 45ml Silver Tequila
  • 15ml Cointreau
  • 30ml Lime Juice
  • Pulp of one kiwi fruit
  • Homemade Jalapeño Syrup * to taste (it’s delicious)
  • Mint

Muddle the kiwi fruit. Add all other ingredients to a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously until combined combined

Double strain into your favourite cocktail glass and garnish with mint, kiwi fruit and blueberries

*To make the syrup, simply chop up on large jalapeno and place in a saucepan (seeds included) with 1 cup of water and 1/4 cup caster sugar. Bring to the boil and then reduce to a simmer until liquid halves. Allow to cool. Strain into a steralised jar and refrigerate overnight.
