Rosa jalapeño Margarita
It’s CINCO DE MAYO
(pronounced [ˈsiŋko ðe ˈmaʝo]; Spanish for “Fifth of May”).
The date is observed to commemorate the Mexican Army’s unlikely victory over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla, on May 5, 1862, under the leadership of General Ignacio Zaragoza (@wikipedia)
Today I have created some spicy pink frozen margaritas to celebrate!
To create one (1) margarita, I used:
- 45ml Tequila infused with Jalapeño
- 15ml Cointreau
- 15ml Lemon Juice
- 90ml Traditional sparkling lemonade
- Dash of Grenadine
Place in a high speed blender with heaps of ice and whiz until the ice is crushed.
Serve in large margarita glasses with a @tajinusa Rim. Garnish with dehydrated lemons and more jalapeño
