Mesa Verde Melbourne

The Ghostface Killer (habanero infused Peleton mezcal, damiana infused Marionette curaçao, lime juice, agave) is one the BEST mezcal cocktails I have ever had. Gawd it was goooooood.

I enjoyed it at Mesa Verde @mesaverde_ . It is not your average bar or restaurant

Their approach to traditional Mexican dining is bold and unique. They also boast one of Australia’s largest collections of Tequila and Mezcal.

I also had the pleasure of enjoying of the Chef’s selection menu that was paired with some delicious cocktails.

The Ghostface killer was paired with charred sweet corn with morita mayo, and a Chicken escabeche tostada.

The @pampellerubyred Margarita (@milagrotequila blanco, pampelle, lime juice, lemon juice, agave) was also sensational and I enjoyed this with hand cut tortilla chips with guacamole, and fresh market fish ceviche with coconut cream, finger lime and heirloom tomato. It was to die for!!!!!!

Next course was a pork and chicken feast sided with achiote, onion salsa, tomatillo salsa, frijoles paste and tortillas from La Tortilleria and paired with a delicious Red – The Bullet Dodger Delinquente Montepulciano 2018

This incredible feast ended with Cafe @patron XO Creme brule, Ocho Single Estate Anejo sided with house made verdita.
