Cinco De Mayo Day 🇲🇽 🌵

My first creation of the day is my inclusion for Joe’s & Ryan’s @chemistry.cocktails@ryan333finch #exoticmargarita challenge. The guys have challenged us to create an exotic margarita with only 3 or Maybe 4 ingredients. .

So here is what I came up with! I purchased an exotic cocktail fruit tin from my local Chinese Grocery store. I soaked the fruit in Reposado tequila with jalapeño for 24 hours.

I then used the tequila and residual juice from the fruit and mixed it with some Blue Curaçao And fresh lime Juice.

I retained the fruit for the garnish and drizzled some passionfruit over the fruit.

Result: A spicy exotic fruit salad margarita.


It wouldn’t be Cinco De Mayo without a Tommy’s Margarita now would it?!!

I have just changed things up a little bit with this one.

60mls Reposado Tequila
60mls Freshly squeezed ruby grapefruit
15mls Agave Syrup
@saltypaloma dynamite Rim


How about a Mexican Negroni for Cinco De Mayo day?!

30mls @casamigos Blanco
30mls @campariofficial
30mls @ottos_athens_vermouth
Mezcal Rinse
Orange Slice Garnish

Rinse your favourite cocktail glass with Mezcal. Place large Ice ball in glass. Combine tequila, vermouth and Campari in a cocktail shake and shake vigorously. Strain into glass

45mls Reposado Tequila
15mls @cointreau
60mls Lime juice
A tablespoon of passionfruit syrup and pulp.

Garnish with Mint. .
