Lemon Meringue Last Word

This is my ‘Last Lemon Meringue Word’


30mls @sesiontequila Blanco

30mls Green Chartreuse

30mls Limoncello

30mls freshly squeezed Lemon Juice


Lemon Meringue:

3 egg whites

2 teaspoons lemon juice

Pinch of Cream of tartar

4 tablespoons caster sugar


How to:

For the cocktail, pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously.

For the Meringue, place egg whites, cream of tartar and lemon juice in a mixmaster and whip for 3-4 minutes on low-medium speed until peaks form. Reduce speed to low and add caster sugar gradually over 2 minutes.

Pour cocktail into glass and gently spoon Meringue into glass.

Result: The cocktail is sharply tart (just how I like it) The Meringue brings sweetness and drama.
