We have the Last Word International Event:
‘The Last Word’ cocktail is traditionally a gin based prohibition-era drink….it has been reborn and now it is on everyone’s lips.
I am very excited to be a part of the Global @wehavethelastword event!
After a great deal of research and taste testing, this is my version of ‘The Last Word’ cocktail.
Recipe:
30mls Vida Mezcal
30mls Green Chartreuse
30mls Maraschino
30mls freshly squeezed Lime Juice
1 egg white
Method:
Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice
Shake hard for 1+ minute to emulsify and chill ingredients.
Strain out ice and shake again for 1+ minute to aerate and further combine ingredients.
Double strain into a glass. Sprinkle Lime zest when the egg white has settled.
Result: An amazing cocktail that really does reserve the right to have the last word
