Today I found some frozen Jack Fruit at the Chinese Grocery store. I had never heard of Jack fruit before so after tasting and gaining an understanding of the taste of this fruit, I mixed up this ‘Jack Fruit Tart’ Margarita.

Recipe:

90mls @patron Blanco Tequila

30mls @cointreau_officiel

90mls freshly squeezed lime juice

5 pieces of frozen Jack Fruit

I Mixed all ingredients together with some ice in my thermomix for 1 minute, speed 9.

Chilli salt from @gewurzhaus and jack fruit rim

Result: Tart and terrifically tasty! Next time I use the fruit, I think ginger would also be an amazing addition to this cocktail.
